It was revealed that the U.S. gave $7.7 trillion to bailout the banks since the recession. If you evenly distribute that money to 313.9 million citizens, every single American would have received $24,530.11, enough to eradicate poverty (the poverty level for one person is $11,490).
If everyone knew this fact, could we/would we resist?
man. I didn’t even get that measly stimulus check because I wasn’t working at the time.
the first step towards confidence is not being afraid to be ugly
once you get over the fear of being unattractive and stop equating beauty with other good things in life (friends, love, happiness) it’s a lot easier to love yourself unconditionally
your job is not to sit around and be pretty and easy on everyone else’s eyes
your job is to do whatever the fuck you want and look however the fuck you want while doing it
me: i don’t want to have kids
every adult within 100 mile radius: nonseNSE!! you’ll end up having them in a few years!!! kids!!! mANY KIDS!! wonderful things you will love them! can”t not have kids?!!¿ chILDREN!
I used to get “wait until you turn 26, then you’ll want kids”. Then it was 30, now it’s 34. I’m 32 now and I just want more dogs.
I want to try to look on the bright side of this trend of racist tattoos, at least it’s a quick way to identify if someone is a complete turd, but I also want to believe that people are capable of change, and I know they’re just going to be even more defensive about being called out on this shit when it’s permanent.
